Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of ClipperSmith city title animation pages, free downloads, paid downloads, related emails, and any other ClipperSmith services that link to these Terms.

What ClipperSmith provides

ClipperSmith provides downloadable motion graphics assets, including city-name title animations and matching alpha-channel files intended for video compositing workflows such as After Effects.

Free downloads

• You may claim one city animation free through the site flow.
• Free downloads are delivered through emailed, time-limited links.
• We may limit, revoke, or block free-download access to prevent abuse, automated requests, or misuse.
• Submitting the form does not guarantee permanent access to any particular file or link.

Paid downloads

• Paid city packs are sold through Stripe checkout or Stripe Payment Links.
• After a valid purchase, we provide access to a paid download page or paid archive link.
• Paid download links may be time-limited or regenerated for security reasons.
• If a paid link fails, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to restore access for a valid purchase.

License to use downloaded assets

Subject to these Terms, ClipperSmith grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use downloaded ClipperSmith motion graphics assets in your own video, social, broadcast, client, promotional, editorial, educational, or commercial projects.

You may:

• Use the rendered animation files in finished video projects.
• Composite the main file with the matching alpha file.
• Edit, resize, color-adjust, crop, or otherwise adapt the assets as part of a finished video project.
• Use finished videos containing the assets for personal, client, or commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, upload, or give away the standalone ClipperSmith files or paid archive.
• Offer the assets as part of a stock asset library, template marketplace, download pack, or competing product.
• Claim ownership of the underlying ClipperSmith assets themselves.
• Use the assets in a way that violates law, infringes rights, or misleads viewers about sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

No city or government endorsement

City names are used descriptively. ClipperSmith is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any city, government, tourism authority, broadcaster, or public agency unless explicitly stated.

Accounts, links, and security

You are responsible for keeping download links and purchase emails secure. Do not share paid download links publicly. We may suspend or revoke access if we believe links are being abused, copied, or redistributed.

Email

By requesting a download or making a purchase, you agree that we may send transactional emails related to your request, including magic links, download-page links, receipts, support responses, and product access messages. Marketing emails may be sent where permitted, and you may opt out of marketing messages.

Refunds

Because ClipperSmith products are digital downloads, purchases are generally final once access has been provided. If there is a technical issue with your purchase or download, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to resolve it. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may update, modify, remove, or discontinue pages, files, products, pricing, or download methods at any time. We are still developing the product, and some features may change as the service matures.

Disclaimers

ClipperSmith is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the site, emails, payment flow, downloads, or files will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every workflow, device, browser, or editing application.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipperSmith will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service or downloaded assets.

Indemnity

You agree to be responsible for claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service or assets, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of ClipperSmith after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
